Don't miss out on registering for BACFest by September 1. The meeting registration fee increases $30 on Sunday, September 2. The Island House Hotel and surrounding areas were not too adversely affected by the hurricane. They have some cleanup to do, but nothing too serious. Although the deadline was August 26 for securing a room at the hotel under the reduced group rate, they will extend our rate for another week, or until their few remaining rooms are taken.
