Initial Climb
Two items

1. Any chance of doing two cards per landing? Then best hand out of 5 cards?

2. Could we do a touch and go at the other airport (NOT ABEL Is...I will stop anywhere for food, haha).

Just don't know if the old body will go three full stops without beer DURING poker...and might be faster/more fool efficient...

How about we have Beer @ all the stops George . I will have some snacks for you too. The kind of beer that mixes with flying . ROOT BEER :) . look forward to meeting you in person.
 
I would not mind stopping at cassville KC74 and checking out the eagles Roost resort. It is very close to the north parking apron beside the airport.
 
Hey Guys, we are going to redo some things with the poker run. So far we have 25 airplanes signed up to fly to Abel Island. We are thinking about just making a one stop at Abel Island for lunch and returning to DBQ. We just won't have enough time to make all the stops and make it back to do the maintenance clinic and catch the boat for dinner. We are still going to incorporate a hand of cards into the event and the winner will be announced on the boat cruise. Great to see so many people coming!
 
Wow, to much to do, too little time. Sounds like fun.

Also, if anyone has an extra front seat, I can play navigator, card shuffler, card counter, gambler or chalks puller.

I would appreciate having another set of eyes in the cockpit. Right now I am single-handing with 3 empty seats, so you've got a deal. Welcome aboard.
