Absolutely! I did do the Minot, ND crossing and cleared customs. Then I got to Marshal MN as an overnight on my way to Tullahoma that year. I tried to hand him off at Beech Party in October, but there were no takers so he came back to hibernate the winter in Canada. I was half way to Bend, OR last year when I remembered the bear was still at home. John Foster would be a good start point to clear off a couple of those NW states. I will make sure he gets on the way again once he pokes his head out of the den in Spring.
Damn, too bad we didn't add Canada earlier, we could have knocked off a few of the central/eastern provinces back in 2022. After the western US is done and it makes its way back to the east coast to check off Delaware, we should bring it up to Ontario and head east from there. I'd volunteer for a leg into Ontario and maybe from Ontario to Quebec.
And maybe while someone's taking care of Arizona, they can pop down into Mexico and we can say we covered the entire continent!
I can 'Bear'ly remember this relay! Happy to hear he is safe and warm this winter. I will find an opportunity to pick him up and let him have a taste of the NW.
