TC, ol' buddy, when you start stirring, the BAC well-oiled machine starts purring! In less than a day, we've reduced our list from 20 down to 9 as to who hadn't registered. Some of those have changed their plans, but others have taken care of business and gotten registered. Come Monday, I'll shoot emails out to those still on your list and see if we can't get a nice pretty bow wrapped around this BACFest package!

By the way, FC, you are on the paid list, so you're good to go.

New guy here :). I'm fairly certain I can make Fri-Sun, but not 100% certain yet. What is the cancellation policy for the BAC tix? If there are still rooms, what is the cancellation policy with the hotel?

Take MV off the list, I'm not going to make BAC Fest this year ..... again. I will cancel my hotel reservations tomorrow. I think I got one with 2 queen beds, so maybe a couple of members could double up in the room. Perhaps four, if they are really good friends.

Welcome aboard! I'm not an officer or official of any kind here, but I don't think BAC has ever kept anyone's money that couldn't make it. The hotel probably won't be an issue either, if you give them as much notice as possible, 24 hours should be no issue.

Did you notice how fast our brethren BACers got registered when we started to embarrass them? Let's see how this updated list of recalcitrant members does as I expose a few more miscreants as of Saturday morning.

TC, you're on it. Your list compares with mine except for Patrick L. He was on the hotel cancellation list, so perhaps his attendance plans have changed. At least one name on the list resides in TX, so they may be headed for high ground right now!

Curt, you're good to go. Jim, we'll work with you and I believe the hotel will as well, although worth confirming their cancellation policy just to make sure it's no more than 24 hours.

I'm guessing I hold the record for shortest time between joining BAC and earning the title of miscreant :D

I signed up, but I have to find out from the hotel on Mon if they will honor the discounted rate.

Hoping for good weather so I can take the Skipper...since I will most likely go around Boston class bravo, it won't be much quicker than driving, but any excuse to fly is a good one.
 
With two surgeries, a annual, and being on mandatory over time all summer it slipped my mind to register for BAC fest. If i had known i would be listed as a miscreant I would be still on the late list.
 
Tom has the updated list of who has registered and paid as of 8/27 so he is ready for Round Two of those who have not done both hotel reservation and BAC registration. Be ready... :twisted:
 
We're registered nowing today. However I can't find any reference to registration deadlines in the original announcements thread or later posts so I'm not sure calling us "late" on the 24th that accurate (and generally our "early" deadlines have only been a couple of weeks out, but coming fast I admit).

One thing I don't like about the Wordpress wrapper is the landing page is effectively static so there's no real way to surface current information on the post-login landing page.

That being said we did will get registered tonight and I do appreciate having a direct online registration back - the Paypal invoicing thing was fine but seemed like a lot of manual work and tracking for everyone involved.
