Video of the year ? If you missed BACFest 2015 this year you can still enjoy !!!!!

Rap , This above video is property of the Beech Aero Club .(I sent you emails earlier today) Extra photos and video were shot and added to the DVD for purchase by Digital Dubuque (currently not Beech Aero Club property) . We are in the process of working with them on that .I believe they did an amazing job.

I purchased the DVD as well do I don't feel too guilty for watching it. I look forward to having a high quality version of it.

We will work on getting the long version of the video purchased and but on the website for download. Some members have already paid $25 for the video, so we will have to figure out how to make that right. We received the link for the photos and there are some great shots. $1.99 for a 4x6 seems like a reasonable price. By the time I order all the ones I want it will be more than $1.99.

I am catching up on my paperwork, and was about to order the video when I remembered this thread.

Is there any update on a club version? or shall I just go ahead and send them my $25?

I tried to play the Abel Island video and the link doesn't work anymore. I searched Vimeo and the Digital Dubuque video's and can't find it. Does anyone have the guys contact info to get the video posted again?

Me too. I like to play it once in a while to bring back memories.

Darn it! I loved that video. I knew exactly where the N6715D footage was located. That was a fun day and a great venue. A little breezy and the breeze gave members a nice challenge landing on an island in the Mississippi. I loved the flights back to Dubuque too. Listening to that poor controller handling all those mouse drivers was a hoot. There was some guy trying to land on the wrong runway too. I remember who you are as I listened intently on the radio... Dude, we were landing 36 NOT 31!!! 36/31 maybe the numbers looked the same... Maybe you didn't want the long taxi to the parking area to save fuel costs... LOL!!!!! The stories that night were fantastic...

And a VERY BIG thank you to Denis and Kathryn for an event I shall always remember and enjoy. Hey .... still got the amazing shirt!
