Pancakes

Joe’s Pancakes at Brookhaven are great albeit expensive. Let’s get a few planes back over to East Hampton and we can get everyone over by my hangar and I will make pancakes and sausages no charge. They may not be as good but the price will be right. Maybe even some coffee and juice.

For those that are OK on Grass, Kline Kill, NY1, has a great Pancake Breakfast EAA Fly In the first Saturday in June ever year. 75 x 4000 feet of grass. 37 acres and you can buy it for the new piece of $1,250,000.00.

For that price you can get a studio apartment in Harlem. A two bedroom town house on the West Village is about $5 million. The airport does have a bunch of hangars and a large pavilion and maintenance shop. And the pancakes are much more than $15.00

NY property is like an airplane... the purchase is just the entry fee. The annual... taxes is the killer.

That is certainly the case in Manhattan and down state New York and Long Island. Upstate not quite as bad.

That might get you 2~3 acres of vacant land with a view here on the island, 5~6 if there no view, 1/4 acre for waterfront.
