BAC Members, mark your calendars now! The tentative dates for BACFest 2015 is October 1 - 4, 2015 in Dubuque, IA. BACFest has been a great experience. This is my first fest since I purchased the Sundowner in July 2014. The knowledge I have learned is amazing. The cameraderie is priceless. It is a great club that is an amazing value.

Excellent! Thanks for getting this started and on the calendar.

Only 7 1/2 hours airtime for me ... this looks positive and doable if the weather gods and mechanical gnomes smile upon me.

Tell ya what - - - I won't make you say Bexar County, Texas the right way if you give me a pass on sayin' "Dubuque". :p

BACFest 2014 just concluded. Each BACFest is an awesome experience as this one was. I have heard some of the things that could be done at BACFest 2015 and am very excited. I won't miss it. You should not either. See you in 2015!!!

I prefer "Bare" County. But then I also know how to pronounce Refugio and Humble too.

Many thanks to the board for the vote of confidence and allowing the Dubuque group the opportunity to host 2015 BACFest. On behalf of Jim, Tommy, Matt, and myself, we are going to give it our all to measure up to the high bar that has been set by others that have hosted this event. Everyone, load KDBQ in your flight planner or GPS, this will be a fly-in friendly event. Let's see how many Baby Beech's we can get on the ramp!

Denis, already did that. Looks like DBQ is 738.9 nm DUE NORTH of 1L0.

But I may just decide to follow the Mississippi all the way.

Robin is already looking at the tourist activities and the hotel in Dubuque. I'm pretty sure she's already decided we're going.
