I doubt that they would smooth that... it would be kind of like going up there and finding out they had paved it!

I just received an email from Dean Sikes informing us that a group of crop dusters are also due at Gaston's the same weekend we are. So there is a good chance that the air traffic to radio traffic ratio may be skewed. Keep your eyes peeled.
 
I plan on attending. I am off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Just a matter of working out a place to stay. The rates at Gaston's are based on double occupancy and it will be just myself. May have to stay in town or just make a day trip out of it. See you next weekend.

Don't forget that Gaston's will send the van for you at no charge if you wish to stay in town somewhere. The airport for town is BPK I think. That doesn't really cover how to get to the super 8 or other hotel accommodations in town, but a call to the FBO at BPK might clear up those questions.
 
Reservations are made. Will arrive Friday afternoon and depart on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Hope the crop dusters don't prove to be an annoyance. Then again, they may say the same thing about a bunch of mice!
 
Sounds like a blast; a little too far, maybe one of the next couple years. Looks like we're stuck golfing with John Persinger at the Sky Bryce fly-in.
 
How about a re-confirmation of those planning to attend this weekend? Since the crop dusters appear to be a big group, the first of us to arrive Friday can go ahead and put in a reservation for dinner with a head count. How about a reservation at 6:30 to allow for a few cocktails?
Brad & Ann Mitchell will arrive around 4pm Friday.
 
Brad, as of now I'm still a go but I'll only be there for dinner on Sat. I'll go up on Sat and back home on Sunday.
i should get there between 11 and 12 on Sat.

Planning on Friday and Saturday for us, can't stay till Sunday

Looks like maybe six this year?
