Beechcraft Heritage Museum (KTHA) Saturday October 13 (Musketeer Induction) Fly-in

Jean and I plan to attend 11-14 October. Will try to fly in.

Got a cancel-able reservation at the Red Roof in Manchester, TN in case the house gets too crowded!

Are we going to be doing a dinner at the event or just lunch this year???? I’m getting ready to register but want to do a dinner at the museum just don’t want to pick the wrong night as we would like to visit with everyone. Anybody the event coordinator? Is there a schedule this year. Standing by.

Fred & Lisa Hannon

Forgot to mention Lisa and I will be flying in Thursday afternoon. We are going to rent a car and staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Tullahoma.

I will try to get a email blast out soon. The big day for us is Saturday . The please be at the Saturday night dinner .

Anybody else flying in or joining us? We have over 250 people attending the 3z induction on Saturday Night. It is also the 30th anniversary of the Starship .Two will be flying in.

If interested in Saturday night Banquet Dinner
Please pay in advance for at least Saturday night if nothing else
They typically run out of seats for that dinner

Today Margie and I have registered for: Museum on Saturday ($Forty five), Hamburger Lunch ($Eighteen) and the Dinner/Buffet ($Thirty eight).

I don't think I will be hungry for a while after that as I will attempt to get my money's worth at each meal.

Staying in Tullahoma 10/10 - 10/16

Is anybody passing through Nashville Thursday October 11 that I could hitch a ride with to Tullahoma. Lisa is bringing the plane from Florida and I am Jumpseating from Boston on Southwest. I’ll be in Nashville at 12:00 noon. Just trying to save on a one way car rental or having to drive back and return it. Anybody could help me out would be appreciated. Fred. 941-628-9247

Just got back from Beechparty 2018 - parked the motorhome next to Fast Fred and right across from the approach end of 36 where all the action was. Two flying starships, tons of stagger wings, Beech 18, and much more. it was reported that this year was a record in attendance and in number of planes to fly in. We had a large number of BAC members in attendance as well.

Best part tho, the dedication of 3Z to the museum and meeting the initial pilot, Gene Nora Jessen. A great lady with a great story about the fabulous flight of the three Musketeers.

looking forward to the Beechparty 2019.

Here is a great big thank you to all who helped make this event possible.

Thank you JP. This week we saw the dream of Mike Relilhan and others realized. 03Z is in a great place and the Beech Aero Club was very well received by the museum folk. Sharing Gene Nora and her stories and experiences with this larger group was priceless.

Thanks JP and thank you to the Board.

Wow! Just, WOW!

What a great weekend Beech Party is? Words don’t describe it. If BACfest is a bargain, Beech Party is a Bonanza! Great friends and great times with formations of Staggerwings, Beech 18s, Starships, Barron’s and Bonanzas flying overhead.

These people know how to party! And they made the Beech Aero Club the main attraction and grand finale of their 2018 Beech Party.

The Beechcraft Heritage Museum recognized JP for his excitement, energy, enthusiasm and leadership. After his excellent entertaining speech, we gave him a very brief golf clap.

JP certainly didn’t disappoint anyone. Everything was over the top, JP style. He delivered 3Z and Gene Nora Jessen! What a show. The hangar door was opened to reveal 3Z flanked by Alan’s UT Sundowner and Gary & Beth’s Pretty Bird (Yoda’s Sunny Beech). The Beech Party crowd loved it! After her presentation, Gene Nora received a standing ovation from the banquet audience of Beech Party 2018.

I’m looking forward to BACSpring 2019.

Ditto what others have said above. It was a great event, and I'd like to shout out a special thanks to Michael Dunlevie for escorting Gene Nora from the west to Tullahoma and back again. We appreciate you ensuring her safe travels, and I'm sure she was a lot of fun to visit with. I know I enjoyed talking with her out on the airfield and hearing her wonderful stories. She's an amazing lady and accomplished aviatrix. And a good time was had by all.
