Thank you for organizing! I’m sorry I’m a “maybe” at the moment. I live locally (Falls Church, VA) and my Sundowner is at home in Luray, VA … but I work for a small (2-pilot) flight department, so if a trip comes up for the work airplane … I’m on it; although typically our work schedule is reasonably stable about 3 weeks out.
 
JP, will we actually need to printout or download the "tickets"?? Or is that just a legacy of the registration platform you're using?

Just register and get me the guest info so the committee can prepare name tags and get a head count for events . We will have to registration on file . Thanks
 
Hello all. Thought I’d jump in here. I am Walter. I live in Leesburg, close to JP. I’m planning to be around but work keeps me busy during the week. If you’re flying into JYO remember to review the SFRA procedures and airspace. There are very specific rules and a specific transponder code that needs to be used. Plus there’s the IAD bravo airspace to be aware of. Also, the JYO tower is manned between 0800-1800 local. Happy to provide additional info as required just email me at [email protected]

Thanks, Walter, for being the go-to on JYO and joining our committee as the Aviation information officer! P.S You will be on the same pay scale as club officers with this responsibility*. :) Walter should be pretty knowledgeable about Leesburg Airport. He is a BAC member and also on the Airport board. Thanks Walter. Maybe we can get a Mid Atlantic Fly in before September.

Haha! Add that to my airport commission pay and I’m getting $0 every month! Looking forward to meeting everyone.
 
JP,
The registration page only asks for the member's name, home airport, address and the guest's address. There is no place to enter the guest's name.
