Special BAC member event at the Beechcraft Heritage Museum on Saturday Oct 15 Th. Discounted museum entry for Beech Party $40 day(regularly $50 a day ) along with a BAC member only event . Private catered lunch ,shuttle to and from the famous Jack Daniels distillery along with a private "flight of Jack Daniels " tour . We will also have a tent with info set up during the Beech Party event. Registration link for the Saturday event to follow .

But once you get a whiff of that sour mash cooking at the distillery, you'll wish you knew him better! I made a reservation at the Hampton Inn for both Friday and Saturday nights (October 14 & 15). Will plan to arrive early afternoon on Friday.

JP, correct me if I'm wrong, but sounds like we'll only need to register with the Museum for one day (Saturday).

Anybody else coming Friday? If so, perhaps we can make our own dinner plans off property for Friday night and save the $40 Beech Party registration fee for Friday.

Brad

That's the great part . $40 a day to the museum . We could do something on Friday evening .Do you have the Hampton Inn info? I will book there too. Being a BAC member will include the lunch and tour (must be a member ) We can have the bragging rights of really knowing Jack. Should be a Fun BAC event with a great Museum experience. I imagine we will have some BAC Boosters involved in some way or another .

I think I;m in. SWMBO has approved. 4 hrs by car if all else fails. Fri nite arrival makes alot of sense.

Hampton Inn, 1922 N. Jackson St., Tullahoma, TN. Phone number is 931-461-5222 but I booked my room through Hamptoninn.com. The direct link is:

http://hamptoninn3.hilton.com/en/hotels/tennessee/hampton-inn-tullahoma-THMTNHX/index.html

The Museum works directly with a local car rental agency, which has pickup and drop off right at the Museum. As we get closer and know how many are coming Friday, we can rent an appropriate sized car and share the expense. It will be cheaper and quicker than trying to catch cabs back and forth to the hotel. As I recall, cab service is not that great!

I will definitely plan to stay over Saturday night, as I intend to enjoy some of Mr. Daniel's finest Saturday afternoon and evening! :)

So far all that have expressed an interest in attending are registered to be at BACFest. Perhaps following the general membership meeting on Saturday, we can meet briefly to further discuss the plans for Tullahoma.

In addition Brad, I think we should consider a spring national fly-in without club meetings. That is, do something just for fun. I have mentioned this in the past and received good input, but it just doesn't seem to happen. Maybe having two national events is too much to plan.

Retired Yesterday...............so, I'm in wife Steffi for saturday--Working on friday arrival if we can get someone to stay with the dogs.

Congratulations Fred!!!!!!!!! I wish you all the best in retirement... Now you and Steffi start putting some serious air miles on that beautiful aircraft you own! Please thank her once again for me for all of her help during BACFest.

She/we are always happy to help out
Thanks again for a great time
Fred

Plan on coming in Friday in our motorhome with our dogs. Staying on site in their RV park/campground.
So plenty of chairs and shade if needed.

I plan to fly out Friday to join you for the event. I saw something about registering with the museum. Is there a link?

Found the links. Looks like museum registration is closed?
