BACFest 2019 - Colorado Arrivals

Tom, that may put us close to the same time. We have to drop the dog off to be boarded at 9 and then will head straight to the airport. The plane is all ready to go, so about a 9:40 depart. We are going to have a nasty head wind, looks like our ground speed will be 100kts, across NE. I had planned on getting fuel at Lexington, NE since it is half way for me and $4.25. If you still have my cell text, me when you depart.

Wow Denis, I figured there would be headwinds, but I didn't figure on 40+ knots of headwinds. Gonna be a long day of flying tomorrow!

I've switched our refuel point to KLXN as well. Nearly every western Nebraska airfield shows NW-SE runways, so crosswinds may impact our landing site as well.

I have your cell, so I'll keep you posted enroute.

Glad to hear you are stopping in Nebraska. Lexington is about a half hour flight from here as the crow flies. We used to have the cheapest fuel for quite a ways around, but the FBO changed hands last winter and now even I find places to fuel before I come home. $4.99 here. See you in Denver!
