Early arrivals at BACFest 2018 include Jeff Knight, Brad Mitchell, Mike Nielsen, Linda Nielsen, Michael Dunlevie and Anne Dunlevie. Big arrival day on Wednesday at KJVY. Parked next to Brad's Sundowner and Mike's Sierra was a Beech Premier. We thought it was the arrival of President John Persinger in the corporate jet, but it wasn't!

But don’t let Jeff Knight drink anything stronger than water!

He’s the only guy in the family that talks more and louder than I do. Well, maybe TOM C., talks more and louder, than everyone else. He’s called ‘The Boston Louder ‘ for a reason. But don’t let them drink! They get even louder.

Remember that night in Portland, OR? When the hotel staff and the cops were pounding on the door to my (and JP’s) room?
I opened the door and said, “Yes?” As I stepped out into the hallway with them.
Them: “Your being too loud. Your disturbing the other guests. Wait a minute! How many people do you have in there?”
Me:”Only 22. Not counting myself.”
Them:”WHAT???”
Me:”Please, don’t yell. Your disturbing the other guest.” This smart ass remark, wasn’t well received, as I recall. This was when CHARLIE Booton and Jean slipped behind me to get into the room.

Mark and Candy Gooderum are on the final stretch, about 2 hours out from KJVY right now. Buy those folks a drink! 6 hours of flight time today!

Brad, will there be shuttles running between KJVY and Galt House for Thursday arrivals?

Candy and Mark arrived in great shape! And in time for the hospitality room to boot !!! - - photos attached from 5:40 pm this afternoon.

CB - - check with Brad. I believe (?) the shuttle will run tomorrow as it did today (between the JVY airport and the Galt hotel).

ALL - - if you are in need of a ride (just in case) ... give me a call. I currently have a rental minivan here at the Galt hotel. Happy to help if needed. It is only about a 15 minute trip from the hotel to the airport. Simple ..... but it may cost you a pancake breakfast!

Tom, because of the fewer number of arrivals on Thursday, there is not a continuous shuttle running. The FBO desk will hail a cab or Uber for you. We've found Uber to be cheaper.

Beech Aero Club stakes its claim at KJVY on Wednesday. And then we enjoy sunset from the 25th floor of the hotel prior to dinner.

I believe he hasn't contacted me because of the security detachment and logistics needed .Also his ship drafts so much water it can not navigate up the Potomac .

Looks like I will be arriving via Economy rental car.
