Smiling faces departing on the 8:30 am bus to the airport this morning. And great end to a fantastic BACfest! The 7:30 am bus had about a dozen on the way out to the planes. Wonderful times for all. Looks like about a dozen aircraft made it here to Louisville this year. Hats off to Brad !!

I took advantage of my fellow BAC brethren to help make my wife at ease with acquiring a motorcycle . Jeff explained his Sturgis trip with his son this summer. From there the sale plummeted. Jean explained her collar bone fracture on her first ride and how she would drive Charley around. Thinking that maybe switching tables could better my odds of making the sale. I go to Tom C and Fast Freddie’s table. I bring up the collar bone injury and Fred shakes it off and says ,”that’s all she broke on a motorcycle?I ran into a dynamite truck ( with a full tank of Gas)”.Looks like I am back to the drawing board on that one . Thanks to Brad and everyone that participated.BACfest Denver 2019 !!!

Much better flying conditions this year. Had blue skies and a slight tailwind on the way in and blue skies and a 15kt tailwind on the way home.

Great flight home! The fog lifted a home base before I got there. 317nm in 2 hours 38 minutes, probably thanks to Florence for a bit of a tailwind.

Great job Brad, and already looking forward to next year!

Has anyone notified those not lucky enough to attend BACFest 2018 where BACFest 2019 will be held?

Hi guys had a great time at my first BAC fest ! Very nice to meet all !! Would be willing to help set up a flyin at PCW Port Clinton airport we have 40s dinner next to the Liberty Avation museum with Putin Bay or Southbass island 5 miles away ! It would take a little planning not to interfere with other events ! Thanks Again Great to meet all ! Dave and Lorrie

Thanks to Brad and everyone that contributed to making this year's BACFest another success. It was a good time with good friends. Kathryn and I had a great flight home to Iowa, on the ground by 10:00AM CDT. Averaged better than 140KTS GS with a little help from Florence.

Thanks to my GF, Denise, that ‘made me go’ to BACFEST 2018! She couldn’t make it this year, but she was determined that I would. Lol.

It’s always so wonderful to see our family members again and meet members that I haven’t met before.

I learned so much! I always do, at these events.

I got to fly with Curt in his absolutely beautiful B24R, loaded with toys and the comfort factor was something we all should investigate. Curt is spoiling himself. And air conditioning is next. Doug Muse is already there.

The Sporty’s fly out was educational and fun!

I’m looking forward to next year!
