BACFest 2015 Arrival Info

Looking questionable for an early morning takeoff from Colorado Springs area. May not be able to leave until afternoon.
 
We are in and 08R hangared for the night in Valparaiso, IN. Full tummys a after a great steak dinner at Kelsey's. Mary and I will head out after breakfast and arrive before noon.
 
14 mice on the ramp tonight. We made it in about 6:30. Denis picked us and Derek and Jennifer Ducknic from Houston up. We went to a restaurant not far from the hotel and joined quite a few having supper. It is a very nice evening, but cool. Supposed to get down to 41 F. by morning. Looking forward to seeing more of you here!
 
I'll try leaving Thu morning, probably IFR for the 5+ hr flight. Will make 1 fuel stop. Route uncertain at this moment, and I may have to fly west then turn north. Will decide after early morning WX briefing.
 
Got here about 6:30. Saw sun setting on long final. :) 7 hrs from Georgia, with the first 2.5 in solid IMC. good experience.
 
Sorry to jump off topic, but this thread seems active for the ones at BAC Fest 2015. DBQ Tower is offering tours for groups up to 6 at a time. If anyone is interested, just contact someone from the DBQ Crew (orange shirts).
