SE Tennessee Fly-In Breakfast

I know it is short notice but there is a Fly In Breakfast at the McMinn County, Athens, TN Airport = KMMI from 8 AM until 11 AM tomorrow, Saturday April 29th. This Breakfast at KMMI is called the 5th Saturday breakfast so it is only held on months that have 5 Saturdays. It looks like this year will have 4 fifth Saturdays (April, July, September & December). This airport is also the location of the national Swift Museum and as far as I know it will be open for tours... they have some very nicely restored Swifts there.

Anyway, Beth & I are planning to attend and it would be great to see some other Baby Beeches and BAC members attend as well. We are always looking for an excuse to combine some of our loves of our lives... flying, eating, gawking at other airplanes and meeting up with BAC members!

But next Saturday 5/8 at 8A1 is antique plane car etc auction
Saw in Barnstormers or in email from them
Nice airport on the lake
Planning on going as long as back in town

The fly in breakfast at 8A1 Guntersville, AL is on the 2nd Saturday of the month which will be the 13th...

This coming Saturday the 6th, Beth and I are probably going to the one in Winchester, TN ( KBGF ) which is just a little north of 8A1........
