Flight Levels
Nelson - once again great job hosting, we had a great, fun time on the 2nd annual BAC*Lite trip to Petit Jean. We also learned valuable information that we need Cabin 12 next year
While we had challenging elements for our landings they were all satisfactory or better (Nelson to post evidence). There was some dodging of birds, including the departure out of MPJ. Within the last 8 days (just over a week) I've put almost 10 hours on the Sierra and it did great! Part of that time was to/from MPJ and despite one of the occupants of the plane saying "this sucks" due to the moderate turbulence, rain, and yes mountain wave produced by the elements of Arkansas the Sierra didn't miss a beat
The highlight of the trip was having my picture taken with the acclaimed BAC bear. In addition to that sensational event we hiked over boulders the size of C130's to see an incredible waterfall, had a personalized and narrated tour of the Rock House Cave where we were shown petroglyphs (bring a flashlight) and got a chance to share tails with one another in the hospitality suite (Nelson's Cabin).
A few pictures below... including one picture of the fantasticmaid wife cleaning the aftermath of 10 hours of bug guts off the plane
