SCBC/BAC Fly-In Breakfast, 34A, 9/23/07

Craig, I'm sure that some of us BAC'ers will still be lounging around by Noon, but the SCBC event will have ended. You should probably save the fuel for the October visit to KLUX, or another BAC Fly-In.

Well, the plane is done but now I've got a heck of a cold and I won't fly with a stuffed up nose.
It's still at LKR and I"ll get it when I'm better.
I'll plan on being there for XMAS !

Good total head count for breakfast meals served at the SCBC-BAC Fly-In; 135 meals served and 42 planes flown in.

Unfortunately, the only BAC planes present were those here for scheduled maintenance; Jeff Von Horn stayed overnight for the fly-in, before returning to Minneapolis. Not a single BAC visitor made it here this morning, despite the terrific weather. Bit of a disappointment. I have lost some credibility with the head of the Airport Commission, and probably will not be able to retain a BAC preferred parking area for future events. I was aware of two 'regulars' who would be unable to make it this time; but had thought a few more might be able to get here for a visit.
