Mason City Thurs BBQ and fly to OSH Friday

We'll meet up on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Mason City, Iowa (KMCW) for their excellent Thursday evening BBQ. I will plan to arrive Wednesday (July 15) and get a mini-van for a group shuttle. On Friday morning (weather dependent) we'll fly the Fisk arrival and head to the N40 aircraft camping area at OSH. This is a great way to introduce yourself to flying to the OSH event. TIME TO MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATION - - -

Currently it looks like it will be John, Michael, and me at this event. The hotel rooms are becoming limited, so I suggest you grab one pretty soon. I plan to fly in on Wednesday (July 15th) and will have a rental car available for the team. We'll leave it at the airport when departing Friday at sunrise.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Clear Lake​

The hotel is located about 1/2 mile from the airport, and about $200 per night. We hope to have more participants, so join in !! Just respond here on this forum and we'll make sure to pick you up when you arrive. Feel free to call if you have any questions. This is one of the best BAC trips that you will ever make .... I guaranty!!!
