Ken Cook Airboss of Connecticut announces the second Northeast BAC fly-in of the year.
Answering Bob Lewis' question... an Airboss is a volunteer who leads activities for BAC in his/her own state or province. They help retain and entice new members. Each is appointed by the local Regional Director at his option. The BAC regions are so large that it is a daunting task for one person (the Director) to adequately manage the club's business alone. Since January 1, 2011, an Airboss has volunteered and been appointed in NH VT MA RI CT NY and NJ. An Airboss in Maine and Pennsylvania will complete the Northeast Region. Think of an Airboss as similar to the president of the local Rotary club. So far we have some great guys on the job.
Official meeting time is 11:00am with the meet/greet/talk about airplanes.
BAC members will meet at BAC. That's Business Aircraft Center the FBO's name.
Lunch optional, together or on your own, separate checks.
Potentially there will be a grill operating and maybe some Johnnycakes.
Ken says a Johnnycake is a Hush Puppy in disguise if you are from Rhode Island.
Bring a friend BAC or not.
