Lambert's Challenge

I agree, anything over 24hrs is a best guess. (of course they are absolutely positive it will be 2 degrees warmer 100 years from now) oops, did that come out?

Weather.com says sunny, temp 69-88, wind NNW @ 5 for Saturday.

We plan to be airborne 9-9:30 AM Fri, lunch in Natchez and arrival at Foley 3-4 PM. Already have room and car setup.

Bo & Sandra

Cloyd.. are you trying tell Bo to only take enough money for gas and leave the plastic at home. :) I am sure Sandra will see the large outlet malls from the air and say "I want.. I want.."

Well, next Saturday (the 13th), while you Foley wannabes are lamenting the fact the weather was bad and no rolls got thrown your way, we'll be catchin' em & eatin' em in Sikeston. 8)

I am hoping to make both! :) Can never have enough rolls thrown at me. Plus I eat for two days on the "to go" box. :)

When she does that I chant, "useful load, useful load".

Bo

Be careful Bo.. you are giving the redhead more reason to earn her certificate. "dump Bo and increase useful load". :)

Yeah.. even the weather here is clearing up so it is looking like I might have to buy lunch for everyone after all. :)

Go front go!

Doug

The "Go Anywhere" mouse is sitting on the ramp at 5R4.

We are in the Econolodge across from the mall and 1 long block from Lambert's.

We'll see as many of you as make it at the airport tomorrow morning. We plan to be there about 10:00AM.

Doug, the people at the "FBO" didn't know a thing about this gathering.

Bo and the Redhead.

Cool! I will be taking off with a friend riding right seat in the morning. Weather looks like clear so I am hoping for a great flight. I am planning on arriving around 10:30a CT. I did not call the FBO since it was going to be less than 10 planes. People and groups come in all the time for Lambert's so it is not a special event for them. :) Yes, it is that good. Check with the FBO and see if the 15 min window still exists for calling for the Lambert's van until arrival. If longer, then would you mind calling them for an 11am pickup.

Thanks Bo!

Well, Four Lima Bravo is now alone on the ramp, surrounded by brand C and P (along with a lone Grumman)

Doug never got off the ground in Columbus, But Cloyd and his friend Cecil arrived followed closely by Steve Maggio then Mark Jones and his Mother and finally, Tom Kinstler.

The transport to Lambert's arrived while Tom was walking up the hill to "Observation point", and we all piled in for the ride into town.

We all ate well and much if not too much. (Tom had to recalculate his W&B before takeoff.) After the ride back to the 'drome, and some more talk, they began departing, with Steve the last to go. (Mark, you seemed to be struggling for altitude, did you have it leaned properly?)

Glad you all had fun and got lots of food. I waited and tried. I actually did attempt to go but the weather fooled me and said "go back home" so I did. Gotta love living in a valley with a river. Argh!

Thanks to all that showed up. I must make KSIK to have Lambert's. :)

Doug

For those that missed Lambert's in Foley on the 6th there is another chance. This next Lambert's event is the 13th at the original in KSIK. Come one, come all, but come hungry!

Let's see who can make both!

Doug
