Nice River near by, Grass Strip, only issue I see is that the parking area may be a little tight... But looks great:

We used Gaston's as a Fly-out destination for one of our BACFest's a few years back.  A great destination with great food and a well kept runway.
 
Parking's not an issue at Gaston's.  25-30 planes will easily fit in the main parking area plus parking is also allowed along the near side of the runway.  Gaston's used to be an annual event in November.  Plenty of good times!

Good info on the Parking... Looking at an Aerial view, parking looked very limited! Just goes to show you that a picture does not always do justice!
 
My last trip in there (10ish years ago) there was a horse trail across the runway about halfway down the runway.  Needless to say it was quite rough.  Fortunately I saw a Bonanza go off ahead of me so I had the nose gear off the ground before the "bumps".  

It may be worth a call before you go to ask about the condition of the turf.

Visited there a few weeks ago. Very nice grass strip, economical room rate and good food.  Great scenery flying in and a “real” airport nearby if you aren’t comfortable with a grass runway. 😁
