Anyone available to meet for some golf, lunch and hangar talk Friday Sept 4. Plan is to meet at Spirit of St Louis airport Friday am . Set up to play golf and have lunch @ landings Golf course next door. (not serious Golf) probably nine holes . Drive or fly? I am in town for a Hockey event that weekend @ Chesterfield,Mo .Would like to meet some fellow BACers. It would be closer for me to drive over than go out to my airport and fly back to KSUS. I could meet you for lunch, not sure about the whole golf thing. I do have a set of clubs, but have not played in a few years.
 
St. Louis made the top 10 cities NOT to visit (#10) ..... again. I grew up there and don't recall any safety issues if you stayed away from certain neighborhoods. There isn't a lot to do there until the "Tick and Chigger Festival". You can tour a Brewery and sometime get a ride on a paddle wheeler. The Arch isn't worth the freight, and most of downtown is dead until the MLB or NFL are playing. I do get back from time to time and visit family and friends that are still in the area. The Blue's turned me down. So did the Cardinals.
