BACFest 2011

Ann and I plan to be there, arriving on Thursday and departing on Sunday. But don't tell Corcoran. He'll be waiting at the airport with shot glass in hand trying to find where the Makers Mark is hidden.
 
I don't think Brad Mitchell has ever purchased a bourbon for me... nor I him. However we do get to drink a lot on our own. So, I'll be at BACFest with Margie and we'll see if Brad will pour first.

Don't know which days.

I hope to get to BACFest with either my wife, Heidi, or 1 or 2 of our boys, or all of them; the plane is in final stages of interior, avionics, annual at 49A now, so should be flying before then.

If you leave out those pesky avionics, the interior, and the seats, it's a lot easier to figure the W&B for carrying all of the folks!
 
Mary and will be planning a friday arrival, so far thats after her day at work. Early sunday departure for the short hop over to Rome to visit with friends for the day before heading home to Delaware.
 
I registered on the website, paid through PayPal and booked my room at the Clarion. Come on September 29th. Mr. Corcoran is getting thirsty and I have a freshly dipped, red wax bottle waiting to pour him a drink!

The Confederate Air Force will soon be on its way. You boys get ready for some slow talkin' on the radio, y'hear? :)

I see that you and a female are registered for BACFest.
I am also registered and am bringing Margie (my wife knows about this).

You could have offered to share a room but I guess that you need privacy for something so I'll pay full price.

You can make it up to me. I see Cloyd Van Hook is registered too. Alas, I'll have to bring him the beer I owe him.

Doug, I'm still trying to determine if I will be able to go this year. Crazy schedule during that week and pet care might be preventing me from heading east. Still working on it. Mark plans on being there in time for the "social hour" on Thursday. He left for China again yesterday for 16 days, but I think that's what he was planning for his arrival time.

I would like to see this thread pinned to the home page, or at least a link to it. We can delete my irrelevant post, as per our SOP.

It's now official! My Girlfriend is throwing me out of the house for BACfest, again this year! Yeah, for me & her!

I will fly commercial to BGM, 1 hour / 50 miles away. Arriving just before noon, 09/29/2011. Departing 10/02/2011, very early 0615 in the morning. I have a rent car, if this helps anyone. This was the closest scheduled service that I found. SYR & AVP have more options and flexibility, but they are further away, if that info helps anyone.

How the heck are you? I haven't heard much from you folks for a while. It'll be great to see your two.
 
Hi Steve: Nice to hear from you again. We are doing well, both retired, Janet has taken up golfing but I managed to talk her into taking a few days off & fly over to Ithaca. It's only about a 3 hour flight but having to stop at Niagara to clear customs, it could take longer. We plan to be there Thurs. afternoon. We will drive over (8 hours), if necessary.
