We (Ken and Bernadette) were planning on attending until I got my work schedule, and alas, no can do...that is unless I develop an 'eye' problem....((that is...I just can't see myself going to work)).. The mouse is almost fresh out of annual, and we were looking forward to the 'road' trip... We will miss all of our new found friends of the SW at the conference!! Have fun

I will fly into Thermal, Thursday morning and will depart Sunday morning. I will be in our Super III and my partner is going to fly in with his new toy a Piper Seneca, he will also be there until Sunday.

I plan on flying into Palm Springs or Thermal. Hopefully the fire in the area will be out or there may be a TFR. The fire killed four Firefighters today and and another has burns on 95% of his body. It was an arson-sad day for all.

My plan is to arrive on Wednesday prior to the show. I will fly unless it is impossible, in which case I will drive. I am not missing the show. My cell phone number is (707) 225-7890. Any BAC member attending the show is welcome to give me a call. I want to meet every member I can during the show. I will be there all three days and I am not leaving until sometime on Sunday.

I will have the Southwest Region BAC banner with me. Be nice to get a picture with as many of us as possible.

Liz and I plan to fly into Palm Springs Airport with our Sierra on Friday afternoon and depart Sunday morning. We have hotel reservations at the Wyndham Palm Springs Hotel and planning attending the expo on Saturday. Hope to run across other club members down there.

Our Sierra is stuck in the annual and will not be ready in time for Palm Springs (AOPA Expo)! So all attendees have fun and take lots of pictures for the next edition of BAC Talk!

Sorry to hear that you will not make it down. I am flying down tomorrow assuming that the rebuilt starter setting in the back of my SUV goes on the right engine with no problems in the morning. I am flying into Jacqueline Cochran and will be staying with a friend in Palm Desert. I'll take some pictures of the parade of planes on Wednesday and post them as I can.
