BACFest 2011

CVH....boldly going where no man has gone before! Bring Spock, Scotty, Sulu and Uhuru with you!

Have you decided whether you're flying Minnie or New Girl?

Cloyd will not do the deciding.

Minnie will.

Let's have a contest on naming Cloyd's new Sierra and force him to name it what we choose!

My first suggestion is: WOODIE

Tom Corcoran

Last Saturday the Sierra wouldn't start and it was looking like Minnie would be making the trek. By the end of the day she was cranking again. We'll see what happens this Saturday and next Wednesday.

TC would I have to put fake vinyl wood looking stuff on the side so she'd look like a flying station wagon?

Cloyd,

My suggestions are;

MASTER (of laws) MOUSE, for your law degree.
COUNSELOR MOUSE, just thinking out loud.
COURTHOUSE MOUSE, not really it just has an image.
MAGISTRATE OF MICE MOUSE, because of your standing and history in this club.
MAGISTERIAL MOUSE, because you are our magisterial mouse and it rings.
MARATHON MOUSE, I thought you might like this one. It just might fit you and the Sierra.

I just pulled down the report for BACFest 2011 to get the final counts to the hotel. If anyone wants to add now, we will have to see if we can make adjustments. Three people did not choose a dinner. Rather than assuming that you did not want to eat, I added a few steaks and one salmon. I will have the final report with me, so those three will have to fight over the remaining choices (I know who you are).

So, who is going to BACFest this year? The northeast location was chosen to give the New Englanders a national fly-in/conference that is nearby! So who is planning to attend?

Here is the list so far (9/25/11)(R=registered):
1. Becky & Gene McPherson (R)

According to Weather.com, the Cote Curse is still active. Cloudy and rainy Tue-Friday.
Not to worry, We made our go-no go decision last Friday. Commercial to Buffalo on Wednesday PM.
See y'all Thursday late morning.

CVH, we are going to try to do the entire thing today. Going to a half way point then checking weather again. Yesterday was a good time in the hangar having "speed demon" Marty tweak the airplane. Doug

Doug:
Hope you have floats on your gear. Tompkins is under a flash flood warning. Good luck!
Unfortunately, we have to drive. See y'all later.
