SW Region Fly-in: Palm Springs

The Southwestern Region is happy to invite one and all to the first ever Palm Springs fly-in. We already have several California members planning to attend and we'd love to have many more. We hear that AOPA is having a get-together at the same time so we recommend you fly into KTRM (J. Cochran Airport). The fuel is cheap and the runways are smooth! :lol:

I'll be attending AOPA in PSP on Friday and Saturday, but won't have my Sundowner there. (I'll be driving back and forth to my home in Hemet. My plane is hangared at Fullerton.)

What date are you planning for the fly-in? What time? What activities? Are you planning to attend AOPA in PSP?

Things are pretty loose right now. CalifDan (Dan Jonas) is going to be there from Wednesday on. Those of us planning to fly will be going into KTRM (J. Cochran Airport). A couple of members are driving over from other parts of CA and I think two more of us are planning to fly.

My wife and I are planning to arrive Friday afternoon. I think our best shot to have some sort of informal gathering might be Saturday late morning or afternoon. I am free Friday evening but have an engagement Saturday evening. I plan to depart early Sunday morning.

Right now, I'd say keep checking this thread to see what shapes up. CalifDan probably has some thoughts to add.
