Northeast Fly In B18 Alton Bay ice runway / LCI Feb 8th, 2025

If Alton Bay is not open for use, will we still have a fly-in at Laconia NH (KLCI) at noon as planned?
Where will the go/no be posted? When will it be posted?

btw: I landed on the ice runway on Monday and it felt great. Very slippery under the snow layer. Doable with finesse. See you Saturday.

LMK - latest word from Kittine is that the wx makes Alton a no-go - but if there's still a planned fly-in at a 'regular' airport, I'm down for that, was planning on flying on Saturday in any case. I'm also interested in when there will be clarity on what's open and what the group is doing.

As of this instant, Alton Bay is being snowplowed and prepped to be ready for tomorrow. Should that not happen for some reason, the fly in gets moved to LCI for meetup at noon.

I will post this evening which location.

Hi all, my plane is grounded this week until a couple of issues are addressed.

Is there anyone heading to the fly-in from the downstate NY area that has a spare seat and wants to split the running costs?

I'm coming from NW NJ. I plan to fuel at 44N Sky Acres. Does that help?

Another successful fly in.

got within 20mi. of LCI, flying above one cloud layer at 5500 - then another emerged from 3500 down to misting on the surface.

sorry, boys - I wasn't prepared to shoot that approach to near minimums......my track shows me bailing out -- call me baby. Sorry I missed it.
