Sun 'n Fun 2016 Lakeland FL

Having fun here in Lakeland. Great weather and meeting good folks from other type clubs. Free lunch and they passed out 12 packs of Bud Light to all volunteers...nice!

Hopefully signed up a new guy who just bought a Sport. Another guy named Gary Cole said he used to be a member but quit since he's found no one else with a Skipper. Is that true? He needs a new windshield and I offered to help him sign up again, but said he might look into it later. Met another member Mark Beeda who's looking for a Sundowner.

Have 11 openings for Thursday's dinner at Manny's. As mentioned, BAC members will get a $20 rebate (by order of Mr. Persinger) for dinner...not a bad deal. Details posted above.

We had a lot of fun seeing some more BACers and having some BBQ. The F22 show was incredible. Thanks for everything Charlie and JP
 
Great seeing fellow BACers at SnF yesterday and sharing BBQ. Thanks JP and Charlie! Glad I was wearing my BAC shirt. And thank you Paul. Your landing suggestions were put to good use this evening. Amazing how a few words can change everything. I guess I can only teach myself so much.
 
Charley, Chuz, JP, Paul, Gary, Fred, Franciso - Jackie and I had a super time meeting you all and spending time in the BAC tent. I think we more than held our own with the other type clubs there! It was really great to spend so much time talking about our obsessions and getting so much great information from experienced BAC owners and pilots. We're really looking forward to BAC Fest in Branson, and to seeing you all again soon. (Fred - I'll see you at the airport!)

What a great time !! I am sorry I missed the dinner on Thursday. Meeting with everyone that was there on Saturday was great. Seeing everyone in person just gets me more excited about the club and the direction we on. I spent a good deal of time meeting with vendors and looking at the latest and greatest products on the market. Thanks to everyone who volunteered and worked the booth . We will have many more club discounts and vendors joining our ranks. The nice thing about vendors being members is they can answer and monitor forums on their products so questions can be answered quickly. Charlie, thanks for picking me up at the airport and setting up everything . What a amazing airshow !! Hope to see everyone soon .
