Anyone available for a Friday Lunch? We will meet at Sky Manor at 12:30 on Friday, Dec 20 for lunch there at the on-field restaurant. You know you're tired of Christmas shopping and are looking for an excuse to fly! This is it!
 
Sky Manor is a fantastic restaurant and airport. $4.79/gallon for fuel. They just paved the runway! Really nice facilities...

It is my weekend run for breakfast...
 
I will be driving through so I will be there regardless of the weather. Anyone that is close enough to drive if the weather is bad is welcome to join me!
 
I know, right Alan? No dessert for me... Anyway, I do have the day off now so that darn weather better cooperate with my plan.

On Saturday I will be doing a little flying... N47 - KMGW - Fuel Stop Somewhere - KSGF (load up with fuel) - Fuel Stop Somewhere - KMGW - N47 At least that is my plan for now... It's that time of the year... A nephew graduating University of West Virginia and then pickup my oldest son and his dog in Springfield, MO to bring home to PA for Christmas... Fun stuff!!!!
 
If you’re looking for cheap fuel, 47n (Central Jersey) is currently at $4.35 as opposed to Sky Manor at $4.71. It’s 18 miles away.

This was supposed to be my trip to NYC to pick up my son in my plane...until the maintenance people put a wingtip through my windshield! Now I'm grounded for another 4-6 weeks while a new windshield is fabricated. Will be flying the Camaro to NYC instead!
 
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that.

I guess the meet up is off? I have a Christmas office party starting at ten with the company that we share our showroom and offices with. I'll check back to see if this is still on.

Sorry to hear about the ramp accident. Do you want to reschedule once you are flying again?
 
NO. It's still on!!!! I was just explaining why I'll be driving instead of flying. I've still got to make the trip. BTW. Does anyone have a flag or banner? Mine is in the hangar and the FBO has my keys while they're working on the plane. I forgot I didn't have my keys and they won't be open before I leave this morning.
