Sky Manor Restaurant, Pittstown, NJ (N40) 12/20

NO. It's still on!!!! I was just explaining why I'll be driving instead of flying. I've still got to make the trip. BTW. Does anyone have a flag or banner? Mine is in the hangar and the FBO has my keys while they're working on the plane. I forgot I didn't have my keys and they won't be open before I leave this morning.
Great. See you there. Weather looks good all around.

Well plans change again. Weather at the airport is good but there are still ice spots on the plane. For safety, I have to bow out.

Merry Christmas and enjoy yourselves.

It was a great time at Sky Manor today... Three Beech Nuts showed up for the luncheon...Alan White, Frank Frankenfield and me. The food was great, the conversation was awesome and the views were to die for... The views included a meticulously painted Beech Musketeer that belonged to Frank from Quakertown, PA. Very pretty paint. There was also a fully restored de Havilland Beaver on floats! Alan has some pictures so I am sure he will post when he gets settled in NYC.

A Hot Time in Pottstown!

Chris Nowak, Frank Frankenfield and Alan White all arrived on a frosty morn in Pittstown, NJ for a fly-in lunch at the Sky Manor Restaurant on the field. Frank has a nicely painted Musketeer and Chris is now slumming around in a V-Tail Bonanza. Despite that, we paid for Chris's lunch too...but he had to earn it! After a nice lunch, Chris popped out homemade Creme Brûlée complete with sugar that he had to torch to crisp it up. Yes, he brought the torch! There's a real long story behind this so look for the full story in the next BACFire Newsletter!
