Climbing to Cruise
Arrival last Friday as a flight of 4 BAC'ers from a preparty in Mason City Iowa.
Great flight, perfect camping spot in the North 40 (all parked together), and we have had world saving discussions ever since. Last night's show was incredible.

I have friends that fly upstate via seaplane to lakes where rental cabins are available. I will have to check to see what is available at land based airports in the Adirondack park.

It was great to see everyone at the “ice cream social! Tuesday I attended the forum “A&P and the law”. I think I might turn in my ticket. I got a call from a shop that said the mag I sent was only good for a core. Spent a lot of time discussing options with the owner. He settled on a SureFly. I ordered from A/C Spruce that afternoon and got the same AirVenture discount SureFly gave. I guess they have a “understanding”. I left for home Wednesday morning flying commercial and the SureFly beat me to the house.
 
Marty, it was great to see you again and all the others at the ice cream social. It’s a shame that good folks like you who serve us and our birds as to keep us flying need to consider “turning in my ticket” because of this litigious society we live in nowadays.
