Mid-Atlantic fly in (KHEF) Manassas Sat. 11/19 ($100 hamburger vs.$30 golf )

Anyone interested in a fly in @ Manassas, VA with a couple hours for lunch and golf ( 9 holes). Broad run golf is at the end of the runway. The manager there will work us up a special. Currently $25 -30 each to include driving range balls and cart. I talked to Paul earlier about this so I am sending out the trial balloon now. We fly in and tee off @ 12. Dulles Aviation on the field will be giving us a discount once we get a head count. I had a great time meeting those at BACFest and feel I should start getting a little more active. Manassas is in the ADIZ so if you have questions send an email. Drive or fly-in and we should have a great time. Warning, in no way shall the golf be taken serious. Everybody welcome. Wizard is also helping me with this, he just doesn't know yet. We just need to get a head count .

I am supposed to be in Vermont that weekend. But plans have a way of changing. It sounds like a fun day and HEF is a great airport. The ADIZ issue is not a big deal. But if anyone wants to fly in VFR there is a Wash.DC. ADIZ online course that is available at faasafety.gov and is required before VFR flight in the ADIZ. Takes just a few minutes and explains it all pretty well. IFR it is just another airport.
I will try to make it if Vermont becomes nonflyable. Let me know if I need to put it on the calendar for BAC points.

The manager at the course is real excited about having us.
 
I'm not going to be able to make it after all. I'm flying down to Knoxville to pick up a dog on Thursday and going to the UVA-TN basketball game on Sunday so the boss says stay home on Saturday!
