We just bought a Sport and would like to join in on the BBQ. Hope to make the trip.

Johnnie & Brenda,

Welcome to BAC!!! Congratulations on the purchase of your Sport! Please tell us all about it. It looks like it was near the end of the Sport production run, being a '77. Mine is a '74, and certainly not a very good example of a '74.

Welcome to South Central BAC! This was THE region to be in, having great flyin's to interesting places, of which I only made about 2 (check out the photo section). But Then the wheels seem to have come off about the time I was ready to get going.

But, Bo & Sandra are working very hard to get us going again!

Bo & Sandra have a personal website where they share their travels and adventures. They have done an excellent job on that also. Get that Link from Bo.

If you own one of these aircraft, this BAC website is a gold mine. I have made the last 2 of the 3 BACFest national flyin's and #4 is coming up. If there is any way that you can make it, you will not be sorry.

It is this coming Saturday and the weather looks like it may co-operate.

Here is who we are expecting (weather permitting):
Bo & Sandra
Buzz Payne
Van Gray
Johnnie & Brenda Smith
Bill Sciscoe

Mark Miller if his schedule allows.

Now, who else?

Bo

Bump...

So far, we have 7, possibly 8 planes.

We would like at least 10, Where are you, Jay, Gene, Cloyd, .....

Bo

Way to go Bo. I just got back in town and realized what was on the calendar. I'll be there with my son. If I can get the plane put back together, we'll fly it over too.

Bo:

We're tied up all Saturday with a deer hunting banquet at our church; otherwise, we'd surely be there. Hope to catch the next one.

Bo-
Wish I could make it but a trip of over a thousand miles is a bit much for the weekend!

Here's hoping the weather holds and the Mouse gathering is a good one!

See ya in Tennessee!

We're looking at up to 9 airplanes in bootifull weather tomorrow.

Bo and Sandra,

It was a real pleasure getting to meet you all face to face. The barbecue was delicious and the fellowship was sweet (kinda like the Tea). Thanks for hosting the event, I am looking forward to the next one. We had 13 people in attendance, not too bad, huh?

I took the liberty of posting some pics, in the photo gallery, of the Musketeers that showed up, enjoy.

We just got home and find that Buzz has already posted the gist of it. 5 Mice, 13 people:

Buzz drove over from Gladewater.
Ed Gorman and his wife and grandson drove over from Shreveport.
Johnnie and Brenda Smith flew up from Conroe in their new to them Sport.
Rod and Denise Boyd flew in from Terrell. I had forgotten how good that buff and blue looks.
Matt Krol and his son flew over from Gladewater in the super III with the polished prop.
Tony King flew in from Decatur in his green apple Mouse.

The tower tour never materialized, but we found a way to fill the time. I do firmly beleive that most of the tales told had at least a grain of truth to them.

KRS' new facility is simply fabulous. And we cannot say enough about the staff. What ever we wished for they produced with a smile.

The balcony is a great place for a lunch, shaded, and in the light breeze. But If I had to go up those stairs one more time, I was just gonna collapse at the bottom and cry.

Ill try to add to the pictures tomorrow.

Bo and the Redhead

Unfortunately, I was not able to attend, but the propsect of a tower tour is very appealing, and I sure hope that one is a future possibility. Of course, BBQ and good conversation is very appealing too!

I'll sure try to make the next event. Thanks Bo for all of your efforts.
