BAC Was in Vermont, Memorial Day Weekend

Vermont is a beautiful state anytime but in late spring the mountains take on a beautiful green hue.

Larry Perry, Airboss of Vermont was host to the BAC Pot Luck Fly-in which took place Saturday May 24, 2014
at the Hartness State Airport (KVSF) in Springfield, Vermont. Hartness is a beehive of activity with an active glider community
and the longest runway in Vermont. (100LL is reasonable too). Great chili was offered for lunch.

It's not every day that you get the airport manager to pump discounted gas for you.

Glad you guys had a good time - the MVFR kept me from going again... Seems like every fly-in hosted here - or anywhere in Vermont for that matter - has less than ideal weather... Now that I think about it - I've never landed in the state of Vermont - while adjacent to NY and not very far from my home base... I'll make it one of these times...

Regards,
Scott
