BAC Picnic at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh - Oshkosh, WI (KOSH) - Thursday - July 24, 2025

Join us for our annual picnic at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Just like last year, we plan to be at the Sacred Heart Brat Stand just outside of the EAA grounds. This turned out to be a successful change in venue. It is located immediately South of the Bus Park along Forest Home Ave. G-11 on the EAA map. I usually eat there for lunch. It goes to a good cause, and they are reasonably priced. I will meet with them on Monday 7/21 to make final arrangements and note any changes in the menu...

Plan on 11:00am CDT to meet at the concession to get ahead of the lunch crowd. I will post updates if there are any changes.

Please reply to this thread if you are planning to attend. If you have a chair, bring it with you just in case.

Menu from last year is listed below. If there any changes I will update on Monday 7/21. I will take your orders in advance starting on Monday 7/21, so we don't overwhelm them. And get served in a timely manner.

The condiments are on out on the tables in front of the stand. All are served plain.

Aussie’s Ron Dyball and 16 yr old grandson Kaleb will be at EAA convention for the whole week. Look forward to meeting up with our American club members at the picnic. Beech Sierra C24R. MC529. 1977. VH TZG.
Need to talk to a type guru on how to get my machine to fly straight. ie dropping right wing, long history.

You should contact Mark Weiss before you make the trip to Oshkosh. I'm thinking he can help you get that Sierra back in rig.
 
Rooms available at OSH AirVenture 2025!

The below info is from a fellow at my airport that has managed a block of rooms at the UW-OSH dorms for several years. He has a couple last minute rooms available. Bus service operates regularly between the dorms and OSH AirVenture all day. If interested, proceed direct to Ken's email or text info below.

Rooms at UW-Oshkosh for Airventure 2025 have unexpectedly become available. They are:

1 A/C dormitory room (sleeps 2) for 8 nights
IN Saturday 7/19 and OUT Sunday 7/27
$1320 for the entire week

3 A/C rooms in a 4-bedroom suite for 7 nights (each room sleeps 1)
IN Sunday 7/20 and OUT Sunday 7/27
$770 for each room for the entire week
