New Smyrna Beach, Florida was the site on January 18, 2014 of a BAC fly-in co-sponsored by the Northeast Region and Southeast Region.

Photo: Southeast Director Dave Singleton, left, finally gets his (WOW size) t-shirt from Tom Corcoran Northeast Director.
Member Jim Olsen got the award for making the most landings on the way by stopping to board Tom Corcoran at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport. Dan Drummond got the prize for being the newest Sundowner owner to arrive. Tom Corcoran got left seat in Dan Drummond's Sundowner for the ride back to his home base X04.
Each attendee received a signature Northeast BEECH BUM t-shirt for flying in.
A breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and juice was served.
Special guest was Dave's flying companion Clarence who says he is 95 years old, has a current medical and flys twice a week in his Cessna 140. Dave verified these facts. He proudly accepted a BAC t-shirt for attending. Given his special status he was granted honorary Southeast membership.
Next Northeast Region event announced is the ICE RUNWAY FLY-IN February 8 in New Hampshire.
