Woodland Aviation/ Watts-Woodland Airport o41, is holding a fly-in open house on Oct. 28th. They will be providing FREE food and drink. I will be there and I will look forward to meeting anyother BAC members who attend. Yes, as a true Musketeer owner the word FREE attracted me like a bee to honey. ha ha
 
Today was the Woodland Aviation flyin. We had about 30 planes, everything from King airs to Musketeers (1 mine). It was an excellent day at 78 degrees. They had free Tri Tip, hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. They raffeled off hats, flight bags, pilot supplies and fights in a G-1000 Baron. I didn't win but, they gave me a hat-much appriciated!! It looks like things are moving in the right direction for the Woodland group and being an airport bum, I'm happy about it. I'm now looking ahead to AOPA!!
 
Gee Bob, wish there had been A LITTLE NOTICE!!! You know I would have liked to have known, would definitely attended. But I just read this, apparantly after the event. Oh well, someday we will get together! ;(

Ooooh... Sorry. Just noticed the post date of your notice.... we were in Whistler BC for the last 8 days so I didn't get it till tonite, the evening of the 28th. Oooops.
 
No problem Tom, If I learn of something else, I'll try and get it out sooner. I really wanted to get to Napa. I had other obligations from months prior that were important to my wife. The date of this event was pushed back a day and conflicted with Napa. I too am hoping to meet other BAC members as I have found it great to swap stroies and get feed back from other pilots. I think I might have traded the Woodland flyin for an 8 day trip to BC as well. That is probably one of the most beautiful spots on Earth.-Bob
