Warrenton, VA Fly-In, May 15

A23ABobP

Flight Levels
Saturday, May 15, there will be a fly-in at the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport, KHWY, from 10 to 6, rain or shine.

Every weekend seems like a fly-in at this airport with the Stearmans, other antiques, Pitts, Vans RVs, other homebuilts and LSAs that live here! Let's add some Baby Beeches to the mix. I have a selfish reason for adding this fly-in as a BAC event: I would like to invite any BAC members to visit my Musketeer project and me in hangar #305. I won't put you to work, but will seek your advice and expertise.

The airport boosters are grilling lunch; The local EAA Chapter 1461 will have their monthly meeting open to the public, aircraft on display, plus a Moon Bounce and movies for kids; The FBO is discounting fuel by 20 cents.

This airport is outside of the Washington Class B airspace and the Special Flight Rules Area.

Hey Bob,

Saturday looks like good weather for a cross-country...BAC members, come on out to the Virginia countryside!
Steve, Paul and John, I look forward to meeting you.
