Thanks!

I have not been able to confirm the Friday afternoon slot for sure, so that would be great.

I'm at at OSH and have the Type Club table set up. I learned one thing today - there are TWO Red Barns. We are next to the Vintage Red Barn. There is a big red sign that says Vintage aas you walk by. The hangar is a brand new gray with red trim building - very nice. We have two tables and three chairs, so stop by and sit a spell

The water is drying up fast, planes on the grass, campers camping, etc.

More later...

I need a little help on Monday AM! Larry Ramsey fell ill so Larry and Sharon aren't going to make it to Oshkosh this year. They were scheduled to staff the type Club table Monday AM 9:00 to 1:00 and Wednesday 1:00 to 5:00. Carl Bastiani can staff the table from 11: to 1:00 on Monday, but I need help from 9:00 to 11:00 on Monday and from 1:00 to 5:00 on Wednesday. I may be able to take the Wednesday shift, but am working at Helicopter Operations on Monday AM. If anyone can volunteer at this late date, it would be appreciated!

Thanks!!!

The Type Club Hangar is located about 100 yards Southeast of the Theater in the Woods. I have put three pictures in the East Central Fly-Ins gallery, one of the table, one of the hangar and one of the sign by the hangar for your reference. I haven't figured out how to make an album under the East Central Fly-Ins gallery, so they are the first three pictures in the gallery.

Guess we gotta talk to Mark G. to see if he can make it easier to navigate or give us some explicit instructions!

As of this 9:15 Sunday morning they are not allowing any aircraft parking on the grass at Oshkosh due to the soggy conditions. The general aviation parking and camping areas are closed as are the show plane areas which include all experimental, vintage, show plane, war bird, rotor craft, ultra light and even sea planes. Here is the link to the Aircraft Parking Status at Oshkosh: http://www.airventure.org/aircraft/parking_status.asp They are encouraging airplanes to divert to Appleton or Fond du Lac.
The parking status information from this page is also available via a recorded telephone message at 920-230-7820. Parking status of the various will change as conditions improve so be sure to check before you depart for Oshkosh.
