Time for lunch at Sunriver, OR (S21) April 25th, 2015

So no takers on the trail ride, no problem. So far, it looks like three airplanes rsvp. Wx out this part of the country has been nothing short of spectacular.

Jon , Is " The Donald" joining you and your father on the flight over ? Make sure you take some sun block for him . He is a ginger and burns easy . Sounds like a great time .

Johnny, "The Donald" is going to be catching up on some work this weekend, so no, he won't make it out to Sunriver. I am hoping our weather here in the PDX area is not like the report, which is calling for rain, clouds, thunderstorms, lions, and tigers.

Anyway, fingers crossed.

I'm still planning on going. SEA and enroute forecast are looking good with a BND TAF of no worse than 3500 Broken and then improving to 5000 broken after 11AM. Surface winds are forecasted to be lite too, less than 6 kts. Enroute winds will be fine as well, looking at 9K @265/08.

Plus, my little girl is going as she is hoping for a horse ride.

I'll make a call by 10am here... On top of this I have been nursing a flu the past 3 days, I was hoping the fever would have been gon yesterday, still in the bad zone, I might call it tonight unfortunetly. I will let you know for sure in the AM by phone.

Thanks,

Jon

I filed an ICAO IFR flight plan to use T routes, be there about noon.

Only issue I see now is local forecasted surface winds are 330/13G22 beginning around 1300L. Still within my personal limits.

We had a good turnout despite the weather. Three Baby Beeches and 4 attendees enjoyed lunch at Village Pub, Sunriver.
