It’s December and it is time for our annual fly-in at Sporty’s! Sporty’s serves up free hot dogs, brats, and metts every Saturday from noon to 2:00pm EST. Looking forward to seeing those that can make it tomorrow. This will be the last fly-in for the East Central Region until sometime in May of 2025.

Weather was good and there was a lot of activity on the field. Even Santa Claus arrived by way of a T-6 Texan at the Clermont Co. (I69) airport. He was there to visit the children gathered over at the Tri-state Warbird Museum. I drove over since my plane is in annual. Joe and Chris Kirby drove as well. They were attending a pinball convention in Cincinnati. After they left, I was waiting for any late arrivals when John Turchi flew in. He arrived in his Columbia 350. He was there to buy an engine heater and visit. John recently sold his Sierra.
