Flight Levels
Fly-in has been rescheduled for Saturday December 21st.
Hopefully the weather will be more cooperative.

It's December and it is time for our annual fly-in at Sporty's! Come help Santa decide what he needs to bring you for Christmas. Sporty's serves up free hot dogs, brats, and metts every Saturday. Join us at noon EST on Saturday December 14th to browse the store and pick up those last minute "must haves". If you haven't received a catalog lately, check out the website. For those that are interested the Tri-State Warbird Museum is also located on the field. The museum is located on the opposite side of the field from Sporty's.

Parking is right in front of the store and the employees will guide you.

Weather forecast here isn’t good either. John may be considering postponing until next Saturday unless there’s a change overnight.

We will see what it looks like in the morning. Indy Regional forecasting low ceilings. Clermont County forecasting fog and rain. If we cancel then we will reschedule for Saturday December 21st.

Due to current and forecasted weather conditions the fly-in has been cancelled. Sporty's will be open of course and serving free hot dogs if anyone still wants to go. We will be rescheduling the fly-in for Saturday December 21st. Hopefully the weather will be more cooperative.

Weather looks to be cooperating for flying into Sporty's tomorrow (December 21). I plan to arrive by noon, any sooner and the hot dogs won't be ready!

The weather made for excellent flying and the hot dogs at Sporty's were good as always! We had 3 BACers attend but there were close to 20 planes that came in for some last minute shopping.

Sorry I missed it. I was on my way but my alternator wasn't maintaining a regular charge so I turned around (the charging problem may be another post).
