Fly in Breakfast located at Lonoke, Arkansas every second Saturday of the month. This event is put on by the 'Central Arkansas Sport Flyers', an EAA chapter. It has happened for right around 10 years (give or take a little). It's the best 8 dollar breakfast around; Bacon, Eggs, Biscuits, Gravy, Pancakes, Syrup, Coffee, Juice, Milk, Water. Depending on the weather, anywhere from 5 to 20 planes and copters can be expected. Regardless of weather, there are usually a minimum of 40 attendees (usually more like 100), as many of the Sport Flyers are located within driving distance.

What you will need to attend:

With 5 days notice, this event will officially count towards the 2013 President Trophy, and the extended forecast seems to indicate that weather will not be a problem.

Hope to see some club members there

It was a phenomenal morning for flying. I wish some of you could have made it to Country Air. I bet they set a record for attendance. There had to be 45 planes there when I arrived. 150's, 172's, RV4's, and RV6's, champs, cubs, luscombs, an Ag Cat painted up in red and white, with Arkansas Razorbacks all over it, and a stearman. We arrived at 9 and they were running low on Breakfast materials, fortunately someone was just getting back from a run to the store. It was a lot of fun, and we were rewarded with a tail wind like crazy for the trip home. How many times can you get a sport going 157 mph at just 2000 feet? If you are in Arkansas or nearby, you really need to put this event on your calendar and give it a try sometime.
