Rough River (KY) - Saturday, Nov. 29

Flight Levels
Forget all the turkey leftovers and join us at the Rough River buffet line at noon. It's a short walk from the airstrip to the lodge and the food is always good. We tried earlier this year and weather caused a cancellation, but the cool, crisp air of fall should cooperate.

I will try to make it. Just put on my calendar. I will have relatives in from New Mexico. Maybe I can convince a family member to ride along.

It's great to hear you saying you are able to fly again. :lol: I'm sure you want to catch up on lost time. Maybe you can conduct a light seminar on your engine saga as well as WOW us all with your electronic gadgetry. You can give us all ideas on how to enhance our Christmas.
 
Yes, the plane and I have a lot of catching up to do. I have to learn how to fly again then all will be great. :)

I will be seeing all the Christmas toys at AOPA Expo this week. :)
 
Saturday lunch at Rough River is still planned. Weather actually looks like it will cooperate! The restaurant said they will be open, but may not have the buffet line. We may have to order off the menu, but it will still be good! Hope to see all of you that will be tired of eating left over turkey. We'll plan to start the short walk from the airport to the lodge at 12 Noon (central time).
 
not going to make it Brad... got to spend time with family then head to Nashville on Sunday. Just found out.. argh!

Last call for Rough River. We'll have 3 planes coming from 27K plus Digger & Deb from BLF. If tomorrow's flying in Kentucky is similar to today's, it WILL be great!
