Some general information on FTG.
http://www.colorado-aeronautics.org/front range.htm is the Colorado Dept of transportations info sheet on FTG which includes car rental and motel information. The airport is located in the shadow of DIA in a pie shaped section cut out of DIA's class B airspace. Main runway is 26-08 and this is where the FBO, restaurant and hangers are located. Airshow (if they do it as they have in years past) will be east of 17-35 and considerably east of the FBO. To travel by auto between the two requires leaving the airport and returning. Probably 4 or 5 miles. You can taxi to the FBO and should if you are picking up a rental car there. Also a moderately good restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Additional motels can be found by searching "DIA Motels". All of these are fairly close to FTG. My home phone is 303-841-4618 (gone from 6/1 to 6/12) and my cell is 303-598-6036. Do feel free to call if I can be of any help.
John
