Galloway Chili Fly-In Mather Field Castalia, OH 1OH3

This weekend will be the annual Galloway Chili Fly-In at Mather Field 1OH3 in Castalia, Ohio. Starts at Noon but runs till around 5 or so. There will be chili, and it is a potluck type event as well so feel free to bring a dish. It is loosely a activity for the EAA #50. There is towers on each end in the vicinity of the field but it is not really a big deal just something to be aware of. Hope to see some BAC folks out there!

Hey Mike, nice to see a regular member posting a a fly-in! This just shows how easy it is for ANYBODY to host an event. Piggybacking on an existing event to encourage BAC participation is a great way to cut down on the hosting duties and still have a great time with your BAC friends. Just be sure to keep track of the BAC members that attend, their home airport and how they travelled to the event. If you pass that information to your Regional Director (John Redmon) then those members will be in the running for the President's Points Trophies that get presented at our Annual Awards Banquet at BACFest each year. Looks like this is going to be a great event, so I encourage those members within a flyable distance to attend and have a great time with Mike!
