We're gonna try again. Weather got us last time, but maybe August's weather will cooperate. It's the Saturday before Labor Day, so that will give you 2 days to let the food settle before having to go back to work!

KSIK is on central time, so we'll plan to meet at the airport between 11:30 and noon. We'll ask the van to pick us up at noon. Pilots & friends get to enter in a side door......no waiting! And BAC buys your lunch. What could be better?

OK the event for the fly-in at the Lambert's at Foley, AL is posted. Let's see which location draws the biggest crowd on that day.

There are outlet malls near Foley, AL and it'll be Labor Day weekend. Could be a crowd.
 
There's an outlet mall in Sikeston, too. All you folks in Foley can go shopping. We'll be too busy eating in Sikeston!! :D
 
So the boys down Foley way are trying to outdo the Sikeston bunch. Dream on! We'll have more hands in the air in Missouri catching all those throwed rolls.
 
The Sikeston Throwed Rolls Fly-in is shaping up nicely for Saturday. Those that have expressed interest in attending are:

We'll plan to meet at the airport (KSIK) between 11:30 and noon. We'll call the van at noon and they are usually there in 10 minutes. If anyone is still enroute nearing noon, radio the FBO and let us know. We'll wait for you.

The great state of Missouri welcomed brethren from West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa and Arkansas. Six planes and 13 people descended on Sikeston to enjoy all the throwed rolls that were thrown our way. A good time was had by all. In attendance were:

Gary & Debbie Boyce, Brad & Ann Mitchell, Dean & Dohnae Sikes, Ron & Violet Powell, Bob Trader and Jay, Deanna, Elizabeth and Brad Bruce.

No one left hungry and many took food home with them.

Candy, we ate for the little people too!
