Note that Norfolk can be a busy place at times. ATIS 127.15 will almost always say that the ILS for the long runway (5 or 23) is in use. If the winds favor runway 14 or 32 just ask for that runway when you check in to Norfolk approach on 118.90. They will almost always give you whatever you ask for.
Also.. There are some big military air bases close to KORF. They will be under the same controllers you talk to, so should be no conflicts. But be careful if you say airport in sight that you are looking at the right airport. Wouldn't be the first time...
Finally, there is only one FBO at KORF so if they say to taxi to general aviation, it means landmark. Usually on 121.90 ground frequency. Occasionally tower 120.80 will keep you on their freq if things are slow. Really a simple airport layout but do feel free to ask for progressive taxi if you don't feel like you can figure it out yourself.
