Join us for an old fashioned ice cream social meet and greet to kick of the start of AirVenture 2016. We will meet at the Vintage Red Barn at 2:00pm CDT. About 2:15pm CDT after exchanging pleasantries we will walk over to one of the nearby concession stands for ice cream cones.
 
Tomorrow is the start of AirVenture 2016. If you have time stop by the Vintage Red Barn and join us for some ice cream!
 
In attendance were: Bob Schmidt, Lee Cole, Dave Blake, Mark Anderson, and John Redmon. The Vintage Aircraft Association was having there own ice cream social at the Vintage Red Barn that started at 12:00 noon. We decided to have our ice cream there for a small donation of course. Mark arrived after the ice cream was gone. So we went over to a local vendor so he could have some. This gave everyone a chance to sit, relax, and for everyone to get acquainted. Now that we know that the Vintage Aircraft Assoc. hosts an ice cream social on Monday. We will just piggyback on theirs next year.
